Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck is the only daughter and second child of Lord David Edward Christopher Beck and his aristocratic wife, Lady Dorothy Devereux, the daughter of Lord John Devereux and his wife, Lady Dorothy Hastings.

Lord David Edward Christopher Beck is only the son of Lord Edward David Beck and his wife, Lady Eleanor Butler and he has no title, property, and the only estate he inherits from Lord William Edward Beck, his grandfather is the dreary Elmhurst Estate.

Lord David Edward Christopher Beck and Lady Dorothy have three children, Lord William David Beck in 2208, Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck in 2210 and Lord David Edward Christopher Beck in 2225.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR is introduced to Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck in 2222, and she is 18 years old when Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR meets her through his aunt, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard.

Lady Charlotte Augusta has dark hair, brown eyes and she has a beautiful  tawny complexion and she is a real beauty and Lord Andrew Charles is 20 years old when he falls in love with Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck.

When Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR makes his intentions known to his father, Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior tells him “No, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR. You can’t  marry her. She is a nobody.  She comes from a petty aristocratic family and a social climbing father who married the daughter of Lord John Devereux and his wife, Lady Dorothy Hastings and when Lord David Edward Christopher Beck married her. 

Lady Dorothy Devereux brought with her Chatterley Manor as  a part of her dowry, but Lord William David Beck left his son, the dreary old Elmhurst Estate.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells him.

“Lord Beck has a son, Lord William David Beck and a son, Lord David Edward Christopher Beck II, and none of them have any property or titles.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells him.

“To say the least  he may come from a good gentry family through marriage.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells his son.

“Lady Dorothy Devereux is the great-great-great granddaughter of Lord Walter Devereux who is distantly related to your great-great-grandmother, Lady Margaret Devereux through her brother, Lord Walter Devereux, but he is the younger son, as Lord Robert Devereux inherited Essex Territory from Lord Walter Devereux. “ Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells him.

“I forbid you to marry Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck and if you do. I will pass the Dukedom of Norfolk Territory to my younger brother, Lord Andrew Charles Howard’s son, Lord Phillip Howard.” Lord Charles Andrew SR threatens him.

Lady Sophia Charlotte hears what her  brother has done  and she comes to the aid of her nephew and looks at her brother “ Listen Charles Andrew . You came to my aid when I wanted to marry Lord William Carey.” 

“My dear sis. You were a different story. You were my only sister.  Heck our father was a tyrant and we both know it.” Lord Charles Andrew SR states.

“Now that is the pot calling  the kettle black. You are displaying the same characteristics of our late father.” Lady Sophia Charlotte states.

“Lord Charles Andrew JR is my eldest child and son, and he was born to govern Norfolk Territory after me.” Lord Charles Andrew SR states. “I had to wait three years for Lady Alexandra Elizabeth to be willing to give me my first child.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells Lady Sophia.

“We were married in 2206 and he didn’t arrive until 2209.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells his sister.

“Good heavens, Lord Charles Andrew Senior. Lady Alexandra didn’t have to marry you at all, but she did.” Lady Sophia Charlotte tells  her brother.

“Lady Alexandra came with the Marlborough but when you couldn’t get your hands on her title or property. It made you mad.” Lady Sophia states.

“Lady Alexandra made it very clear that Lord Charles Andrew JR would inherit it only if you agreed to her terms.” Lady Sophia states, “Our father agreed to the terms.” 

“There is not anything wrong with The Becks. They are decent and respectable people.” Lady Sophia Charlotte tells her brother.

Lady Alexandra Elizabeth walls in and she looks at her husband “ Now what Lord Charles Andrew Senior?”

“Our son wants to marry a petty aristocrat with no title, no property, and no dowry.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior states.

“Listen, Charles Andrew Howard Senior, I didn’t have to marry you if I didn’t want to and my father left it up to me to decide. We married and I have given you four children.” Lady Alexandra states.

“Lord Frederick William, your own father agreed to my terms of our marriage or there wouldn’t have been no marriage.” Lady Alexandra states, ``Furthermore, I know about your mistress, Lady Catherine Gordon.”

“I better never find out that you sired a child with that woman.” Lady Alexandra states, “ I will not have our children consorting with any of your bastards.” 

“I have turned a blind eye to your infidelity.’ Lady Alexandra states.

“I don’t understand why you won’t let our son marry Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck and let him be happy.” Lady Alexandra tells him.

“Our son will marry Lady Patricia Stuart.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior states,  “She comes from a good aristocratic family.” 

“Lord Matthew Stuart is from a real fine background from the illegitimate line of John of Gaunt and King Charles II and his mistress.” Lady Alexandra states.

“Lord John of Gaunt’s granddaughter, Lady Joan of Beaufort married King James II of Scotland.” Lady Alexandra states just as  Lord John of Gaunt’s granddaughter, Lady Margaret Beaufort married Lord Edmund Tudor and they had usurper, Henry Tudor.” Lady Alexandra states.

“Have you forgotten who killed your ancestors, Lord John Howard and Lord Walter Devereux on Bosworth field?  Lady Alexandra asks.

“It was Henry Tudor the great-great-grandson of Lord John of Gaunt.” Lady Alexandra tells him.

“Now, there are some fine  schemers for you.” Lady Alexandra tells Lord Charles Andrew Senior.

“Lady Margaret Beaufort had been scheming for her son for years and I mean I understand why she loved her son, but to murder two innocent princes in the Tower of London just to advance her son.” Lady Alexandra states.

“I have made my decision, Lady Alexandra and our son will not marry Lady Beck.” Lord Charles Andrew Senior tells his wife.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR goes on to marry Lady Patricia Eugenie Stuart in 2228 and never consummated his marriage   until  April of 2229 when their first child and son was conceived.

Lady Charlotte Augusta Beck goes on to marry Lord Henry David Stafford, the eldest son of Lord Frederick David Stafford  in 2230. 

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR names his second daughter born in 2245 after his lady-love, Lady Charlotte Augusta Howard and she is married to Lord David Frederick Stafford, the heir of The Duke of Buckingham Territory on Star Base 12.

Lord David Edward Christopher Beck’s grandson, Lord David William Beck becomes the Earl of Essex under Lord Andrew Charles Howard and his other grandson, Lord Timothy Christopher Beck marries Lady Katherine Grey, the eldest daughter of Lord Henry Grey, Duke of Suffolk Territory and his daughter, Lady Christine Theresa Beck becomes the first Duchess of Suffolk with the Beck name.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR never forgets his first love, but he goes on  to remarry Lady Sarah Churchill and she blesses him with a daughter, Lady Frederica Wihelmina Howard who succeeded her father as Duchess of York in 2299.
