The Mother of A New Dynasty on Star Base 12 and 10.

The Plea To Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR

When Lord Richard William Carey was 20, shortly after he became Duke of Bedford Territory and after Lord Clifford interfered with his plans to marry his daughter, Lady Henrietta Anne.

Lord Robert William Carey went to Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, his first cousin twice removed, and asked him to intervene  with Lord Robert Clifford.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR looks at his first cousin, Lord Richard William Carey and he tells his first cousin, “Lord Richard William. Lord Clifford is only a Baron. He has property and a title but he has no territory that we can claim in the name of your great-great-great-grandfather’s name.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“I love her, Lord Charles Andrew JR.” Lord Richard William explains, “If you could only meet her. You would see why?”

“I am sure she is very pretty.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states, “Still he doesn’t live in my territory and the territory he lives is  in between Suffolk and Essex.”

“You ask Lord Henry Grey to appeal to Lord Clifford.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states, “I know that Essex is still in the hands of Lord Richard Devereux.”

“Lord Henry will tell you. Don’t marry beneath your station as will Lord Richard Devereux.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“You are only 20 years old and you have time on your hands.” Lord Charles Andrew JR tells him.

Lord Richard William Carey travels out to Suffolk Territory to Lord Henry Grey and Lord Henry and Lady Georgina Grey receive Lord Richard William Carey with a warm welcome “ I am pleased to meet the new Duke of Bedford Territory. I was so sorry to hear of your grandfather passing away.” Lord Henry tells him.

“Thank you Lord Grey. I will miss him.” Lord Richard William tells him.

“Lord Henry. The reason for my visit is I have to ask you to intervene on my behalf with Lord Clifford. I wanted to marry his daughter but he doesn’t like my great-great-great-grandfather.” Lord Richard William states.

“Who didn’t like Lord Patrick William Howard?” Lord Henry Grey tells Lord Richard William.

“My great-great-great-grandfather traveled with him on the USS Excalibur on April 30, 2153 and it is because of Lord Patrick William Howard that my family lives on.” Lord Henry tells him.

“My great-great grandfather, Lord Anthony Grey remembers Lord Frederick William Howard and my great-grandfather, Lord Thomas Grey remembers Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR and he had a lot of respect for him and my father before he died knew Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR and they were very good friends.”  Lord Henry states.

“I became Duke in 2269, and I will do what I can, but then again Lord Robert Clifford is only a Baron and he holds no territory.” Lord Henry states.

“I know his two children, Lord Robert and Lady Henrietta Anne and I admit she is very pretty, but don’t you think you are worth a Countess or Duchess.” Lord Henry asks.

“Lady Constance Percy is the heiress to her father’s estate and she has a dowry and she will become Duchess of Northumbria.” Lord Henry states.

“My wife was the heiress to Montague estates.” Lord Henry states “ We haven’t had any children yet and we are waiting. We will have our family soon.’

“I was born in 2250 and I am in no hurry to start my family. I am only 20 years old.” Lord Henry states.

“I heard that Lord Andrew Charles Howard refuses to marry a woman that he doesn’t love. I know the rascal  will take a stand against what his father wants.” Lord Henry states.

“Neither Lord Charles Andrew III nor Lord Patrick William II have had any children.” Lord Henry states.

“Lord Richard William. There are repercussions in every family like the Grey’s and Howard family when a father or mother doesn’t want their son or daughter to marry us.” Lord Henry states.

“My ancestors fought for the Lancasterian side and your family fought for the York side during the War of Roses.” Lord Henry states.

“We put aside our differences when Henry Tudor became King of England in 1485 and when he married Princess Elizabeth of York in 1486.” Lord Henry states.

“One of my ancestors married Lady France Brandon, the daughter of King Henry VIII’s youngest sister, Princess Mary Rose and they had three daughters, Lady Jane, Lady Katherine and Lady Mary.” Lord Henry states.

“Lord Henry and his daughter were executed by Mary Tudor , and Lady Katherine Seymour married without the consent of Queen Elizabeth to Lord Edward Seymour, the son of the Lord Protector.” Lord Henry states.

“My ancestor's son was Duke of Somerset but after his family died it reverted back to his elder son by his first marriage and he inherited the title.” Lord Henry states.

“My great-great-great-grandfather named his territory after his beloved Suffolk, England.” Lord Henry states, “ Lord Clifford brought a parcel of land between Suffolk and Essex territory.” Lord Henry states.

“It is his property free and clean and his son will inherit it.” Lord Henry tells him.

“Lord Richard William. You are worthy more than a mere daughter of a Baron. Think of your great-great-grandfather, Lord William Carey and your great-great-grandmother, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard.”Lord Henry tells him.

Lord Richard William Carey thanks Lord Henry Grey and he heads back to Bedford Territory, but he is heartbroken over the loss of Lady Henrietta Anne Clifford.

Lord Richard William Carey becomes very close to his two cousins, Lord Frederick William Howard III and Lord Thomas William Howard.

Lord Richard William Carey tells his cousins, “ Is it my fault that I was born in the Howard family.”

“No. Lord Richard William.  Our great-great-grandfather had four children and you are the result of one of them.” Lord Frederick William III explains.

“I believe that someday you will find your bride.” Lord Frederick William tells him.

“Lord Richard William. Lord Clifford doesn’t like our family. I don’t know if our great-great-great-grandfather brought Lord Clifford to Star Base 12.” Lord Frederick William states.

“My father told me they arrived here later on under Lord Frederick William.” Lord Frederick William III tells him.

“My great-grandfather, Lord Andrew Charles Howard told me that they arrived here in 2190, when Lord Frederick William just became Duke of Norfolk Territory.  “ Lord Thomas explains.

“I think that Lord Thomas Clifford was the Baron at that time but I have no idea if he got along with Lord Frederick William or Lord Charles Andrew Senior.” Lord Thomas states.

“I know that Lord Charles Andrew JR told me that his son, Lord John inherited the title around 2240 and he married Lady Elizabeth Percy and they had a son, 2248 and he is the current Baron.” Lord Thomas states.

Lord Robert Clifford had two children, Lord Robert and Lady Henrietta Anne.” Lord Thomas states, “I am not sure that Lord Charles Andrew JR even knows him. “

“Lord Richard William.  One day you will meet your lady-love but forget Lady Henrietta Ann Clifford.” Lord Thomas asks him.

“I haven’t found my lady love and neither has Lord Frederick William III or Lord Andrew Charles.” Lord Thomas states.

“I know that Lord Andrew Charles will never marry an aristocrat and he will not marry a woman that he doesn’t love.” Lord Thomas tells him.

“I am telling you. You can do better than just a mere Baron’s daughter.” Lord Thomas tells Richard William.

It is on a May day of 2274 that The USS Republic orbits around Star Base 12 and on the arm of Lt Kevin Thomas Riley walks Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell.

Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell is not an aristocrat and she is a commoner from Post World War III Planet Earth and Lt Kevin Thomas Riley introduces her to Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR, Lord Richard William Carey and standing by his father’s side is Lord Andrew Charles Howard.

“May I introduce Karissa Elizabeth Ann Lowell. She has just arrived from Post World War III Planet Earth.” Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley tells them

Karissa knows something about protocol and she gives a curtsy and Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR gives her his hand to help her rise to her feet.

Karissa tells Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR that she will reside at Madame Boarding House which is located in Bedford Territory and Lord Richard William Carey is delighted that she has chosen his territory.

Lord Richard William smiles and it is Lt. Kevin Thomas Riley asks his friend, Lord Richard William Carey to escort Karissa to Madame’s Boarding House.

Lord Richard William Carey tells Karissa about his territory and he tells her “ My people are friendly  and mainly country folks.  They are not aristocrats, but mainly from good gentry families and they are hard workers.”

“My territory is primarily agriculture.” Lord Richard William states.

“We are pretty laid back and we are prosperous and peaceful.” Lord Richard William states.

Karissa looks at Lord Richard William and she tells him “ My late grandparents were farmers in the Southern United States. They had a farm and they raised cows, chickens, turkeys, some geese, and they also had pecan trees and cotton. “

“My late maternal grandmother had lots of orange tabby cats because they made good mousers.” Karissa tells him.

“My late grandfather made moonshine.” Karissa explains.

Lord Richard William Carey listens to Karissa as she talks and then she is quiet.

The rest of the journey to Madame’s is quiet until they arrive and Lord Richard William sees Karissa to Madame’s Boarding House.

From Norfolk Estate, another young man, Lord Andrew Charles has set his eyes on Karissa and he tells his father ‘“She is the one the one I want to marry and with her I will give you your first grandchild.”

“My son. You don’t even know her and she has just arrived.” Lord Charles Andrew JR states.

“I won’t fail, father.” Lord Andrew Charles tells his father.

Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR warns his son not to do anything that will bring disgrace upon the family and to court Karissa in the right way.

From Bedford Territory, Lord Richard William Carey is thinking about Karissa too, but no one knows how Karissa feels about either Lord Andrew Charles Howard or Lord Richard William Carey.

Later on Lady Karissa reveals that both Lord Andrew Charles and Lord Richard William Carey are two of the most handsome men on Star Base 12.

She considers Lord Charles Andrew Howard III good looking as well and she considers him even a better lover than his youngest brother.

It is not until Lady Karissa’s wedding day to Lord Andrew Charles Howard that both confess their love for each other but Lady Karissa is 7 months pregnant with the first male line great-grandchild of Lord Charles Andrew Howard SR.

“You know Lord Richard William, there is a song called “How Could I Know from the Secret Garden and I will just sing some of the lyrics to you.”

How could I know I would have to leave you?

How could I know I would hurt you so?

You were the one I was born to love

Oh, how could I ever know?

How could I ever know?

How can I say to go on without me?

How, when I know you still need me so?

How can I say not to dream about me?

How could I ever know?

How could I ever know?

Forgive me, can you forgive me?

And hold me in your heart

And find some new way to love me

Now that we're apart?

How could I know I would never hold you?

Never again in this world

But oh, sure as you breathe I am there inside you

How could I ever know?

How could I ever know?” Lady Karissa sings.

Finally, both Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Karissa Elizabeth Ann Howard nee Lowell learn to love once again after they lost their first loves
